BÚHO COFFEE, is a specialty coffee company that sources green unroasted coffee beans directly from Bolivia.
Búho (booh-oh) is the Spanish word for Owl. In many indigenous cultures the owl represents a symbol of deep wisdom, and encourages the use of intuition and inner wisdom to navigate challenges, embrace personal growth and transformation. Owls are often seen as spiritual messengers offering guidance and connection to the spiritual world.
Our Story
In 2024, my dad passed away, bringing a whole new perspective to my life. The owl logo is a tribute to him, who always taught me to seek out wisdom, embrace culture and honor traditions.
BÚHO COFFEE was born to honor the Bolivian heritage of my parents and embrace the coffee culture of the Pacific Northwest. We specialize in sourcing traceable single origin directly traded coffee from Bolivia.
